Paul Mitchell

Paul Mitchell is an experienced professional in asset management and regulatory systems, currently serving as Senior Manager of Asset Management Capability at Chorus NZ Limited since January 2023. Previously, Paul held several significant roles, including Principal Adviser at the Ministry for Primary Industries and Principal Adviser at the Commerce Commission. With a robust background in regulation, Paul has also been the Head of Regulation (Gas) at SSE plc and has served in various capacities at Vector Limited, Gas Industry Company Limited, and Ofgem. Paul possesses a Master of Arts in European Studies - Economics from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Business and Finance from the University of Brighton, alongside several professional qualifications in management and health and safety.
