Tim Rickerby

Tim Rickerby has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as Senior Legal Counsel - Commercial at Chorus NZ Limited since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Spark New Zealand from August 2018 to September 2021. Here, they advised on a wide range of complex contract and commercial matters, including dispute resolution, related to new bids and in-life IT and outsourcing contracts in the UK Central and Local Government sector.

Tim's early career includes working as an Associate at Simpson Grierson, one of New Zealand's leading commercial law firms, from September 2008 to June 2012. Tim provided advice to corporate clients on various corporate/commercial matters, specializing in the downstream oil industry, with key clients including BP Oil New Zealand Limited.

Tim Rickerby holds a BCA degree in Information Systems and an LLB degree in Commercial Law from Victoria University of Wellington. The specific start and end years of their education are not provided.
