Femi Aluko

Femi Aluko's work experience begins in 2013 when they worked as an Intern in the Field Supports and Project Department at Toptech Engineering Ltd. Femi'sresponsibilities included installing and maintaining access control systems and sensors at various banks. In 2013, they also joined Softblue Nigeria Limited as a Software Engineer. Aluko later joined Hutbay in 2015 as a Software Developer where they wrote maintainable code, implemented designs, and prototyped new capabilities. In 2016, they joined Shopping Internet Services as a Team Lead, eventually becoming the head of the Core API Team and leading the transition to a microservices architecture. From 2017 to 2022, Aluko worked at Paystack where they held several positions including Senior Software Engineer, Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, and Principal Engineer. Currently, they are a Co-Founder at Chowdeck, a role they began in 2021.

Femi Aluko obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University. Femi attended the university from 2010 to 2015.
