Capera Ryan currently serves as Deputy Chairman for the Americas at Christie's, a position held since January 2001, after previously managing all operations in Texas and Colorado as Senior Vice President and Managing Director for the Southwest Region. Prior to joining Christie's, Capera Ryan worked at Sotheby's from July 1998 to August 2001 as a Jewelry Expert. Capera Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Art History and Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University, completed in 1998, and attended The Hotchkiss School from 1992 to 1994.
