Tylee Abbott possesses extensive experience in the field of American art, currently serving as Head of Department at Christie's since 2015, following a role as Specialist in American Art. Tylee has also contributed to Sotheby's as Associate Specialist in American Art from 2013 to 2015 and engaged as a Contributing Editor for American Fine Art Magazine and a Contributor for Western Art Collector at International Artist Publishing. Leadership skills were demonstrated as President of William Abbott Fine Art and Director of Sales at Thomas Nygard Gallery. Tylee has been a Board Member of First Cornerstone Foundation since 2006 and started a career as a Research Intern at Questroyal Fine Art in 2009. Educational qualifications include an MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art and a BA in Art History & Business from Franklin & Marshall College. Outdoor education was pursued at NOLS with graduation from Westtown School prior to higher education.
