Sam Pick has worked in various roles in the e-commerce and digital marketing space since 2009. In 2009, they began as a Contributor for Radio Adelaide, where they produced, hosted, and controlled a weekly radio show. In 2010, they worked as a full-time journalist for the Murray Valley Standard, where they researched and reported on stories, took photos in the field, wrote stories, and pitched them to the editor. In 2012, they worked as an Editorial Intern for Shoes.TV, where they researched and wrote fashion and entertainment articles, as well as wrote scripts for online marketing videos. Sam also worked as a Contributor for The Daily Deets. That same year, they worked as a Social Media Specialist and Editor for DermStore (Target Corp.), where they were responsible for all organic social media, and increased network referrals by 1300% in 2015. In 2017, they worked as a Digital Marketing Analyst for FRAME and as a Digital Marketing Manager for Hudson Jeans, where they oversaw, coordinated, and executed on a range of digital marketing initiatives. In 2019, they worked as an E-commerce Manager for Dôen. Finally, in 2020, they worked as a Director of E-commerce for Rhode, and in 2022, they began working as a Director of E-commerce for Christy Dawn.
Sam Pick completed their Master of Arts (MA) in Journalism at the University of South Australia between 2011 and 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Media in Media Studies from the University of Adelaide between 2008 and 2010.
