Scott Johnson

Scott Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. Scott'smost recent position was as a Software Engineer at Chromatic starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technical Officer at Loons Landing Brewery, where they started in November 2021. Scott also founded FoamFactory.io in January 2021. Before that, Scott worked as the Head Instructor at Sinking Moon School of Kung Fu starting in February 2017.

Scott's previous experience includes roles such as Principal Engineer at Medal.tv from December 2019 to January 2021, where they worked on various projects and provided technical advice. Scott also served as a Lead Graphics Engineer at InVisionApp Inc from December 2016 to December 2019, where they developed a GPU-based rendering platform. Prior to that, they were an Engineering Team Lead at When I Work from September 2014 to November 2016, where they developed Android applications and provided architectural guidance. Scott also worked as an Android Engineering Lead at Jingit from December 2013 to August 2014, managing the Android development team.

Earlier in their career, Scott was a Platform Engineer at Mozilla Corporation from June 2011 to October 2013 and a Sr. Software Engineer at General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems from October 2009 to June 2011. Overall, Scott has a solid background in software engineering, technical leadership, and project management.

Scott Johnson's education history begins in 1998 when they attended Red River High School in Grand Forks, ND. After graduating from high school in 2001, they went on to attend the University of North Dakota. From 2001 to 2006, they pursued a dual degree in Computer Science and Mathematics, earning a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Science degree. During this time, they had the privilege of being in the Honors program.

Following their undergraduate studies, Scott Johnson continued their education at the University of Minnesota from 2006 to 2009. There, they focused on Computer Science and obtained a Master of Science degree.
