About: Based in Boston, MA, Chronic Capital provides capital advisory for specialized industries such as cannabis, commercial real estate, construction, life sciences, and more. We help entrepreneurs raise debt and equity, buy or sell businesses, and navigate their respective fields.

At Chronic Capital, we pride ourselves on being a trusted partner, delivering creative capital solutions that traditional lenders often can’t provide. Our mission is to foster growth in the sectors we serve by offering reliable, affordable financial solutions so you can focus on what you do best—building your business.

Founding: Chronic Capital was founded to address the need for reasonably priced debt in specialized industries. Recognizing the limitations of traditional financial institutions, founder Ryan Handelman, a specialty business banker, started Chronic Capital to provide trust, transparency, and tailored financial solutions to underserved businesses.

Beyond our loan products, Chronic Capital helps operators with various debt, equity, and consulting services. We also help banks navigate specialty banking through our consulting services and lending solutions. Guided by integrity, innovation, and partnership, we are committed to helping entrepreneurs and operators navigate the evolving landscape of specialty finance.
