Richard Rilstone

Richard Rilstone has a strong background in business development and sales, with experience in various leadership roles. Richard is currently serving as the Director of Business Development at Hurdle, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to joining Hurdle, Richard was the Chief Commercial Officer at HALOGene, where they worked from May 2022 to March 2023. Before that, they served as the Sales Director at HALO Screening from September 2020 to March 2023. Richard also has experience in the insurance industry, having worked as the General Manager at Cigna Bahrain from November 2019 to September 2020 and as the Director Sales & Client Management - MENA region at Cigna from October 2016 to September 2020. Richard has held various sales leadership positions at Bupa Global, including Head of Sales - Corporate Business - Middle East from December 2014 to September 2016, Senior Business Development Consultant from November 2008 to December 2014, and New Business Consultant from June 2008 to November 2008. Earlier in their career, Richard worked for Enterprise Rent-A-Car as the International Sales & Marketing Manager (EMEA region) from January 2000 to May 2008, where they were responsible for managing various business relationships, contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and revenue management.

Richard Rilstone attended Coventry University from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a BA degree in Business with a focus on Accountancy and Marketing.
