Ryan McKillen

Founding Board Member, 1st Investor at Chronosphere

Ryan McKillen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Co-Owner and Chairman of the United States SailGP Team, Ryan is also a Partner at Thursday Group and has held board member positions at Chronosphere, Volley Automation, and Dockwa. As the first investor in Chronosphere, Ryan contributed to the development of a planet-scale cloud-native observability platform built on work at Uber. Prior to these roles, Ryan was involved in various capacities at Uber, including Product Manager in the Advanced Technologies Group for autonomous vehicles, and launched the NYC engineering office. Early career experiences include software engineering roles at WorkingPoint and as a founding engineer at Uber, along with a tenure at Screaming Ventures as a Growth Hacker. Ryan began his professional journey as a Certified Public Accountant at EY after earning a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Miami University. Additionally, Ryan is the owner of Protagonist Beer.
