William B. currently serves as a Member of Technical Staff at Chronosphere since January 2023. Previously, William held positions as a Senior Software Engineer at Interchain GmbH, where William led the implementation of the Proposer-Based Timestamps algorithm and migrated timing parameters for distributed consistency. Prior to that, at Squarespace, William was a Lead Software Engineer responsible for developing a control-plane for the Envoy proxy and co-leading the development of a TLS terminating proxy. William's experience includes a Software Engineer role at MongoDB, where William maintained tools for data management, and earlier roles as a writer, technical consultant, and academic tutor. William earned a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Oberlin College in 2015.
