Ahamed Rislan is the Director of Programmes at Chrysalis, where they currently lead various initiatives. Previously, Ahamed served as the Head of Development Services at Chrysalis Gte from 2017 to 2023, managing essential project functions. They were also a Senior Project Manager at CARE from 2014 to 2017, overseeing the YOUth CREATE project aimed at fostering community connections through arts and culture. Ahamed began their career as a South Coordinator for Arbeiter Samariter Bund e.V. in South Eastern Europe, a role they held from 2007 to 2012, and served as a Senior Coordinator for the Peacebuilding and Development Institute in Sri Lanka from 2012 to 2014. Ahamed completed their degree at the University of Colombo in 2024.
