Chrysalis Skin & Scar is a clinical destination for complex skin, scar, and scalp concerns in Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix area. Founded by sisters Teresa and Mischelle—clinicians and co-founders of Athena Specialty Group, a multi-state mobile wound care company operating since 2018—Chrysalis was built on wound healing science rather than aesthetic trends.
The practice operates three Centers of Excellence: Scar Revision & Management, Birthmark Treatment, and Hair Restoration. Chrysalis brings scar revision, birthmark removal, hair restoration, advanced biologics, and paramedical camouflage together under one medically supervised program—an approach the team describes as the only complete program of its kind.
What sets Chrysalis apart:

An all-female clinical team combining wound healing expertise, advanced laser technology, biologic therapies (amnion-derived biologics, exosomes, PRF, PRP), and paramedical camouflage
Laser technologies selected to safely treat all skin tones, including skin of color
Individualized care plans built around each patient's condition, skin type, healing response, and long-term goals
Treatment approaches influenced by European training and clinical wound care expertise

Chrysalis also runs a Cancer Survivor Renewal Program, offering documented cancer survivors a complimentary initial assessment and a 10% treatment reduction, with coordinated communication back to referring oncologists when consented.
Serving Scottsdale, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Tempe, Phoenix, and patients across Arizona—plus out-of-state patients on customized treatment schedules.
