Danil Bugakov

Danil Bugakov currently serves as the Head of Property and Casualty at Chubb, a position held since February 2025. Prior to this, Danil was the Head of Property at Hannover Re's Malaysian Branch from August 2013 to February 2025, where responsibilities included leading a team of over 25 staff and managing operations across eight countries as well as the Facultative Worldwide business in Singapore. Danil's earlier role as an Underwriter at Hannover Re involved enhancing underwriting profits, developing client relationships across Asia and London, and implementing innovative market strategies. Danil holds a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Informatics from Lomonosov Moscow State University, a Master's degree in Banking and Asset Management from Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Tashkent State Economic University. Additionally, Danil has coaching experience as a Swimming Coach for Minors with the Uzbekistan Swimming Federation from December 2006 to November 2009.
