David Handelman

David Handelman has extensive experience in the insurance and actuarial sectors, currently serving as AVP & Life Risk Manager at Chubb since January 2020 and previously holding the role of AVP; Head of ERM Reporting & Governance at Chubb Life from August 2014 to December 2019. Prior to this, David worked as an AVP & Life Actuary at Chubb Life and spent time at Allstate Financial as an Actuarial Associate, where responsibilities included life insurance product design and pricing, as well as annuity valuations. Early career experiences include serving as a Pension Administrator at Danziger & Markhoff LLP and interning for the Bob Casey For Pennsylvania Committee. David Handelman holds a BA in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania, graduated in 2008, and possesses additional qualifications as a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FAC).
