Demetrius Young

Demetrius Young is an experienced professional in the fields of underwriting and social services, currently serving as an Underwriter Account Associate II at Chubb since October 2022. Prior experience includes positions as a Child Support Specialist Trainee at the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services and a Community Collaboration Project Associate at Kenneth Young Center. Demetrius has also worked as a Case Manager at JCFS Chicago and held roles in various organizations, including H&M, Common Ground Recovery Services, and Family & Children's Center. Notably, as an Urban Scholar with Mayor Betsy Hodges, Demetrius developed a program in collaboration with the Obama Administration's "My Brother's Keeper" initiative to empower young men of color. Demetrius holds a degree in Human Services and Social Work from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota.
