Derek Brown

Derek Brown has extensive experience in the insurance industry, beginning as an Insurance Agent at State Farm from April 2015 to October 2017, followed by a role as a Claims Adjuster at Florida Family Insurance from October 2017 to July 2022. Derek progressed to a Senior Property Field Adjuster at Chubb from August 2022 to May 2024, handling residential and commercial property losses of varying complexity across the United States. Currently, Derek serves as a Claim Director, managing large losses with high complexity and severity. Derek holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Communications from the University of Central Florida and studied English Language and Literature at the University of Surrey. Prior to the insurance sector, Derek worked at the YMCA of Central Florida as a Lifeguard and Teambuilding Facilitator from July 2012 to April 2015.
