Derek Labahn

Derek Labahn, ARM, currently serves as AVP of the Claim Contact Center at Chubb since September 2025. Prior to this role, Derek had an extensive career at Turo from January 2017 to September 2025, progressing through various positions including Director, Senior Manager, and Manager of Claims Operations, as well as Supervisor and Associate roles within the Claims department. Additionally, Derek gained experience as a Property Claims Specialist at State Farm from March 2015 to February 2017, and served as a Combat Medic in the South Dakota Army National Guard from October 2009 to February 2016. Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and an Associate's degree in Military Science and Operational Studies, both from Black Hills State University, completed between 2009 and 2014.
