Erik Benson

Erik Benson has over 36 years of experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as Assistant Vice President and Underwriting Manager at Chubb NA since February 2004, where responsibilities include managing the Property, Machinery, and Marine Practice in Metro Chicago. Prior to this role, Erik Benson worked at Atlantic Mutual Companies from June 1987 to February 2004, managing a $40 million middle market insurance operation across multiple territories and overseeing a team of twelve. Additional leadership roles at Atlantic Mutual included Global Accounts Resource Manager and Market Segment Manager, focusing on profitability and growth of a $100 million multi-line commercial insurance portfolio, as well as commercial lines supervision. Erik Benson holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University at Albany, where studies were completed between 1982 and 1984.
