Joel Wakeford is currently the Cyber and Technology Practice Leader for the Southern Region at Chubb. They have held various underwriting positions within Chubb, including Senior Cyber and Technology Underwriter, Industry Practices Underwriter, and Cyber and Technology Underwriter from 2019 to 2023. Prior to their tenure at Chubb, they worked as a Commercial Underwriter at Broker Network and as a Claims Analyst and Business Coordinator at Generali from 2011 to 2015. Joel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Pathology at UNSW and has obtained the Certificate in Insurance (Cert CII) from the Chartered Insurance Institute.
