John Ambrose

John Ambrose is a seasoned insurance executive with extensive experience at Chubb since February 2002, currently serving as Senior Vice President of North America Financial Lines. Ambrose oversees the Financial Institutions Specialty Lines commercial insurance portfolio across the Western United States, managing operations in 25 branches across more than 20 states, including Illinois, California, and Texas. Prior roles at Chubb include Vice President and Assistant Vice President positions, where Ambrose was responsible for various aspects of Financial Institutions Specialty Lines, including underwriting and territory management. Ambrose's earlier career includes a position as Underwriting Unit Manager at Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, where oversight of a team of underwriters was a key responsibility. Ambrose holds a BA in Economics from DePaul University and a MA in Economics from the University of Illinois Chicago.
