John Young

John Young is an experienced tax professional with a lengthy career in tax counsel and management. Currently serving as SVP Domestic Tax and Senior Tax Counsel at Chubb since October 2006, John Young advises on mergers and acquisitions, government affairs, and tax audits while overseeing domestic tax functions. Previously, John Young worked as Tax Counsel for a large multinational insurance company, focusing on tax controversy and operations. Early roles include Associate positions at Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis and Duane Morris LLP, and managerial experience at PwC. John Young began his career as a Tax Associate at Deloitte and as an Auditor at PwC. John Young holds an LLM in Taxation from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, a JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law, and a B.S. in Accounting from King's College.
