Joyce Xie

Joyce Xie currently serves as an Actuarial Trainee with Chubb, specializing in the Major Accounts Property & Specialty Actuarial Team since June 2023. Previously, Joyce held actuarial internships at The Hartford, focusing on Long-Term Disability pricing and automation through VBA, and at Milliman, where project work involved developing a cloud-based API and implementing actuarial pricing logic in Python. Additionally, Joyce contributed to content creation at Coosi Studio, collaborating on marketing campaigns and writing audience-specific materials. Joyce Xie is pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Florida, with earlier education culminating in an AICE Diploma from the University of Cambridge and a high school diploma from Mandarin High School.
