Marco D'Oro

Marco D'Oro is a results-driven insurance leader with 20 years of experience in underwriting, claims, and operations, specializing in marine, casualty, and specialty lines. Currently, they are the Head of Industry Practices at Chubb Italy, where they lead a startup initiative focused on reshaping go-to-market strategies across various sectors, including Life Science and Renewable Energies. Previously, they oversaw underwriting operations at Chubb’s EMEA Underwriting Center and served as Head of Marine & Aviation at Gruppo Lercari. Marco began their career as a Marine Claims Handler at Howden and has a degree from the University of Genoa. They are also a certified professional of the Chartered Insurance Institute and actively contribute to industry discussions while developing the next generation of underwriting talent.
