Michael Slor

Michael Slor is a retired insurance executive who began their career in 1978 as a Commercial Lines Division trainee at Chubb's Los Angeles office. Over the years, they held various management roles, including North American Casualty Manager and Senior Vice President, overseeing operations in multiple regions and managing significant underwriting centers. Michael earned a degree in Geography with a focus on Climatology and Economic Geography from California State University-Northridge and attained the Commercial Property and Casualty Underwriting Designation (CPCU) in 1982. They also contributed to the insurance community through leadership positions, including President of the Golden Gate Chapter of CPCU and Chairman of the Insurance Education Association Board from 2007 to 2009. Michael retired from Chubb in October 2017.
