Mitch Thompson

Mitch Thompson is an accomplished insurance professional with extensive experience in underwriting across various prominent organizations. Currently serving as a Multinational Underwriter at Chubb since May 2024, Mitch previously held the position of Executive Underwriter at The Hartford from February 2018 to February 2024. Prior to that, Mitch worked at AIG for over a decade in various senior underwriter roles, specializing in multinational underwriting and commercial trucking risks. Mitch began a career in underwriting at RLI Insurance Company, managing large fleet trucking and public transportation accounts, and started in commercial underwriting at Federated Insurance. Mitch holds a Bachelor of Arts in English/Language Arts Teacher Education from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of West Georgia.
