Simon Abbott

Simon Abbott is an experienced aviation insurance professional currently serving as the Head of Aviation at Chubb since June 2022. Prior to this role, Simon held various positions in the aviation insurance sector, including Underwriting Executive at Global Aerospace from February 2014 to June 2022, Senior Underwriter at ACE Group from April 2005 to February 2014, and Insurance Broker at Aviation Insurance Services from February 2004 to March 2005. Simon's career began at Sturge Syndicate 960 as an Assistant Underwriter and progressed to Deputy Aviation Underwriter at Chartwell Managing Agents Limited. Simon holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from The University of Sheffield, attained between 1988 and 1990.
