Tim Charters has a strong background in finance and leadership within various sectors. With experience as VP of Finance at 40South Energy from February 2013 to March 2015, Charters has also served as Co-Founder and Director at Picture Fair Ltd from July 2011 to January 2013. A significant tenure at BP from September 2001 to July 2011 included a role as Originator. In public service, Charters held various positions at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS), including Head of Operations for Home and Local Energy from March 2015 to June 2018, Corporate Finance Advisor from June 2018 to June 2019, and is currently the Climate Tech Practice Leader at Chubb since March 2023. Charters holds a BA in Economics and Politics from the University of Exeter and an MSc in Financial Economics from SOAS University of London.
