Richmond’s Manchester neighborhood is currently the primary focus of Church Hill Ventures. So far, we have committed more than $25 Million into Manchester property acquisitions, rehabilitations, and business investments.

Founded by Michael & Laura Hild, Church Hill Ventures is an opportunity fund that invests in neighborhoods that need both capital and entrepreneurial passion. We see potential where others may only see derelict buildings, poverty, and crime.

Our first set of mixed use buildings are currently under construction. We expect the buildings to be restored with new apartment residents toward the end of 2017. The buildout for 1st floor commercial businesses will be completed in 2018. We are committed to the area by investing directly in all of our commercial business tenants that are moving into our buildings in order to accelerate the rejuvenation of the Manchester’s business district.

In an attempt to help build the brand of the Manchester neighborhood and recognize the positive change that is occurring, we established The Dogtown Dish. As a community news source, the Dogtown Dish posts news stories that are relevant to Manchester and helps act as a source for information for both visitors and residents alike.
