Church Initiative is a nondenominational, nonprofit ministry, equipping churches for ministry to people facing the challenges of divorce, grief and single-parenting. Church Initiative provides a network of support group programs, which are found in more than 20,000 churches across the nation, Canada, and worldwide. 

Support group programs include:

- DivorceCare, www.divorcecare.org, a small group resource for those in separation/divorce 
- DivorceCare for Kids, www.DC4K.org, for children of divorce
- GriefShare, www.griefshare.org, helping people grieving a death
- Single & Parenting, www.singleandparenting.org, a care group resource to help and support single parents
