Francisco Blasques

Francisco Blasques has a diverse work experience in the field of econometrics and data science. Francisco is currently a Professor of Econometrics and Data Science at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam), where they also serve as the Director of Doctoral Research at the School of Business and Economics. Francisco Blasques completed their education with a Master's degree from Nova School of Business and Economics. Afterward, they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Econometrics and Operations Research from the same university in 2011. Following their PhD, Francisco completed a Postdoctoral program at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) until 2012.
