Abby Hammer is the Chief Product Officer at ChurnZero. Abby has over fifteen years of experience in product management and has held leadership positions at iContact, OutMarket, and ChurnZero.

Abby has a proven track record of success in product management. At iContact, they were responsible for the product strategy and roadmap for the Marketing Automation SaaS product. Abby collaborated with on- and off-site teams in R&D, marketing, sales, account management, and support & services to drive alignment with vision and goals; communicate VOC to scrum teams. Abby led problem discovery, VOC and market/competitor research, and win/loss analysis to identify unmet needs, determine target audience, prepare detailed functional requirements & use cases, and illustrate user experience; draw upon findings to craft and evangelize product messaging and positioning. Abby integrated customer feedback into product/feature roadmap. Abby also sourced and managed business and technical aspects of vendor relationships. Abby led all internal product training; present at conferences, participated in interviews, and published blog or traditional pieces to convey value proposition.

During their time at iContact, Abby served as a member of the Company Leadership Team driving strategic planning and operations. Abby was recognized as a valuable resource advising other departments on process/procedure development. Abby also emphasize and achieved measurable improvements to customer engagement and renewals. Abby continually communicated new features and product best practices, quantify and measured engagement success, led dedicated cross-functional team that overhauled onboarding process and on-going education, and initiated development and delivery of several key, innovative product features to rescue at-risk customer profiles. Abby also served as Sales Engineer for complex and large deals, leveraging their technical and business expertise to address all questions/concerns presented by prospective customers, overcome obstacles, and establish the groundwork for long-term customer relationships.

Under Abby’s leadership, ChurnZero has seen incredible growth. In just their first year as CPO, the company’s recurring revenue grew by 30%. Abby has been instrumental in developing ChurnZero’s product strategy and roadmap and has successfully launched several new features that have helped the company achieve its aggressive growth goals.

Abby Hammer graduated from Goucher College with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology. Abby then went on to get their certification from Pragmatic Marketing in Pragmatic Marketing Certification.

They are on a team with Jason Moore - VP, Sales, Allison Tiscornia - Chief Customer officer, and Mark Heys - CTO. Abby Hammer reports to You Mon Tsang, CEO.
