Jacquelyn Gboyor started their work experience in 2017 as a Business Intelligence Analyst intern at Ellucian. During this role, they designed front-end applications using R and the Shiny application framework to simplify data analysis and reporting for the Action Line Department. Jacquelyn also built a Shiny web application that manipulated personnel data and exported it in various formats to support ad-hoc reports and Tableau dashboards. One of their notable accomplishments was improving the performance of a script, reducing its execution time from 1.5 minutes to 4 seconds.
In 2018, Jacquelyn joined GXM Consulting as a Software Developer, where they continued to apply their skills in software development. Jacquelyn held this role until 2022.
Currently, Jacquelyn is working at ChurnZero as a Software Developer, starting in April 2022.
Jacquelyn Gboyor's education history begins in 2017 when they enrolled in the Year Up program to study Information Technology. In the same year, they also completed a Nanodegree program in Android Basics through Udacity. From 2016 to 2018, Jacquelyn attended Prince George's Community College, where they earned an Associate's degree in Computer Science. In 2018, they received a Nanodegree in Android Developer from Udacity as part of the Grow with Google Challenge Scholarship. Their education journey continued at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2019 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
