André Sobczyk

André Sobczyk is an experienced professional in the field of viral vector manufacturing and biotechnology, currently serving as the Head of VVF (Viral & nonViral Vectors) at CHUV since February 2021. Previously, André held the position of Head GMP Viral Vector Manufacturing at Cellectis from February 2019 to January 2021, and served as the Viral Vector Core Facility Manager at the Institut du Cerveau – Paris Brain Institute from 2010 to January 2019. Additional roles include Head of Molecular Biology, Cell Line Engineering, and Bioproduction at tebu-bio from 2006 to 2009, and Senior Scientist R&D & Bioproduction at Valneva from 2000 to 2006. André earned a Doctorat in Microbiologie and Biochimie from Université Paris Cité between 1990 and 1994.
