Cedric Le Caignec

Cedric Le Caignec is currently the Head of the Medical Genetics Department at CHUV / Centre hospitalier universitaire vaudois, where they also serve as a Medical Geneticist. Previously, they held the same position at Hôpital Purpan and worked as a Professor of Genetics at both the University Paul Sabatier and Université de Nantes. Cedric has an extensive academic background, having completed a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) with a focus on medical genetics and a PhD in Molecular Genetics. Additionally, they have experience in research and leadership in cytogenetic and preimplantation genetic diagnosis labs. Cedric's education includes a postdoctoral position at KU Leuven and a Master's in Health Management and Policies from Sciences Po.
