Claude Bailat

Claude Bailat is the Head of Radiometrology and Vice Director at the Institute of Radiation Physics, CHUV - University Hospital Lausanne. They have extensive experience in the field, having served as a Senior Research Associate and Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they focused on irradiation-induced defects in semiconductors and metallic nanoparticles. Previously, Claude held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne and as an Adjunct Professor and Senior Research Associate at Brown University, specializing in ultrasounds and phase contrast imaging. Claude earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Université de Neuchâtel, followed by a Master's and a Ph.D. in Physics from the same institution and École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, respectively.
