David Barras

David Barras is a Research ML Scientist in Bioinformatics with a joint appointment at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, affiliated with the Broad Institute. David completed a PhD in Life Sciences at the Université de Lausanne, where they designed peptide therapeutics to prevent metastatic progression. Prior to this role, David worked as a Senior Bioinformatician at CHUV, focusing on translational oncology research and biomarker discovery. They also served as a Bioinformatician at the SIB Swiss Institute of Bioinformatics and began their career as a Research Biologist at the University of Lausanne.
