Girieca Lorusso

Girieca Lorusso is an analytical and project-oriented scientist currently working as a Chargée de recherche at CHUV | Lausanne University Hospital. With extensive experience in preclinical and clinical oncology, Girieca has previously held positions as a researcher at the National Institute for Cancer Research of Genova and MultiMedica Group, as well as a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Lausanne and the University of Fribourg. Girieca has contributed to research on tumor microenvironment, breast cancer metastasis, and therapeutic applications of chemopreventive molecules, and has displayed strong project management skills throughout their career. Currently pursuing a PhD in Immunopathology and degenerative diseases at Università degli Studi dell'Insubria, Girieca also holds an MSc in Biological Science from the University of Genova.
