Dr. Jean Bourhis, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Radiation Oncology at the University of Paris, a position they have held since 1999. They served as Chief of the Radiation Oncology Department at Gustave Roussy from 2002 to 2012 and currently lead the Radiation Oncology Service at CHUV, where they are also pioneering innovative treatments such as FLASH Therapy. Having authored over 350 publications, Dr. Bourhis is a distinguished expert in oncology, particularly in head and neck cancers, and has held leadership roles including President of the European Society for Radiation Oncology. In addition to their clinical expertise, they have a strong interest in laboratory and translational research and have directed a research laboratory for over 15 years.
