John Prior

John O. Prior, PhD MD, FEBNM, has served as the Professor and Head of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at Lausanne University Hospital since 2010. They graduated with a Master of Science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology at Zurich, completed a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and earned a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Lausanne. John underwent specialization training in nuclear medicine and held a visiting associate professor position at the University of California at Los Angeles. Currently, they are the President of the Swiss Society of Nuclear Medicine, Chair of the UEMS/EANM Accreditation Committee, and act as WFNMB-WHO Liaison Officer.
