Lorenz Hirt is a highly experienced neurologist with a focus on cerebrovascular diseases. Hirt completed a fellowship in experimental stroke research at Massachusetts General Hospital from October 1997 to October 1999. A graduate student at the German Cancer Research Center from 1987 to 1989, Hirt earned a thesis in experimental tumor virology from Heidelberg University.
