Luc Belinga is a psychiatric resident with a focus on the complexities of mental illness and neurobiology, currently affiliated with the Centre Hospitalier et Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV). As a PhD fellow, Luc's research centers on developing in vivo models for frontotemporal dementia and exploring biomarkers for Alzheimer’s disease to enhance diagnostic accessibility in resource-limited settings. Previously, Luc served as a medical consultant at the regional military hospital of Yaoundé, where they implemented an emergency framework for neurotraumatology cases. Additionally, Luc co-founded the Neurosphere-Association and A4B initiative, aimed at improving research and diagnosis of neuropsychiatric disorders in low- and middle-income countries. Luc holds an MD from Université des Montagnes, awarded with the highest distinction, and is currently pursuing an MD-PhD in Neurobiology at the Université de Lausanne.
