Sudip Das

Sudip Das, PhD, is a Staff Scientist and Research Manager with over 10 years of experience in infection biology, specializing in microbiota, immunology, and lung infections. They completed a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, graduating summa cum laude. Currently, Sudip leads human lung microbiota research and manages a laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Bern, while also serving as a scientific project manager at the Technical University of Munich. Their expertise encompasses biosafety, genetic safety, and regulatory affairs in university and clinical settings. Additionally, Sudip is involved in evaluating global postdoctoral fellowship grants for the European Commission and teaching at the Technical University of Munich.
