Wijaya Centre, established on July 20, 1977, in Nugegoda with three employees, has evolved into the Wijaya Group of Companies, operating over 38 branches across Sri Lanka and employing more than 3,000 people. The company has a strong culture built on customer trust, integrity, and dedication.

The Wijaya Group leads in the apparel sector in Sri Lanka, offering a wide range of products including clothing, home wear, and gift items, alongside sewing machines and accessories. It also addresses the needs of small businesses through its brand Siyarata Kuda, which is gaining popularity in Asia.

To create job opportunities, the company has launched garment enterprises in several locations, enabling local and international apparel manufacturing. Their CIB Apekama loyalty program boasts over 600,000 members, rewarding active customers with vouchers and discounts.

Recognized for excellence, CIB Shopping Centre has been awarded Fashion Retail Brand of the Year at the SLIM Neilson Awards for three consecutive years (2018-2020) and has become a staple for Sri Lankan shoppers.

In terms of community support, Wijaya Group contributes through the K.R.G. Wijesundara Charity Foundation, providing resources to Sunday Schools, establishing Wijaya Sadaham Sewana in Kandy, offering scholarships, and engaging in blood donation and tree planting initiatives.
