Alan Speight

Alan Speight is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in derivatives and rate trading. Currently serving as Executive Director of Rate Trading at CIBC since December 2009, Alan has previously held positions as a Senior Derivatives Trader at LBBW and as a Derivatives Trader at BNP Paribas, Merrill Lynch, and UBS, contributing to extensive expertise in the trading sector. Alan began a career in derivative trading at Security Pacific Hoare Govett in the early 1990s. Alan holds a BSc in Engineering from the University of Exeter, completing studies there from 1988 to 1991.
