Amit Basu

Amit Basu is a technology risk and governance leader with over three decades of experience in empowering teams and enhancing community upliftment. They have held various senior roles, including Director of Enterprise Data Management and Director of Engineering at CIBC, where they led strategic initiatives in data management and oversaw engineering teams supporting over 70,000 devices. Amit began their career as an Assistant Manager at UTI Mutual Fund, progressing through notable positions at IGATE and DXC Technology, where they implemented critical infrastructure and managed operational teams. They earned a BA in English Language and Literature from Calcutta University.
