Babar Hamid is a finance professional with extensive experience in internal audit and financial oversight. Currently serving as the Director of Internal Audit at CIBC since March 2004, Babar has also held the position of Senior Audit Manager within the same organization. Prior to CIBC, Babar worked as an Audit Supervisor at IMRG, Inc. in Washington D.C. from 2002 to 2004. Babar holds a Master's degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business, obtained between 2000 and 2002. Babar is a CPA licensed in Ontario and Virginia, as well as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and Certified Financial Services Auditor (CFSA).
