Chad Schella

Chad Schella currently serves as Associate Vice-President of Government Relations at CIBC, a position held since October 2022. Prior to this role, Chad spent over a decade at Canada Post, where key leadership positions included General Manager of Government & Community Affairs and Director of Government Affairs. Chad's experience in sports management as Director of Player Services for the Ottawa Senators Hockey Club included overseeing a $5M budget and managing player relations. Additionally, Chad held prominent roles with the Ottawa Senators Foundation and Pro-Pharma Contract Selling Services, focusing on community relations and marketing initiatives. Earlier experience includes communication management at the Royal Canadian Golf Association, Canadian Construction Association, and support roles within the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. Chad holds a BA in Political Studies from Bishop's University and completed a program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management.
