Dan Cacic

Dan Cacic, MBA, CFA, P.Eng., is a Senior Director at CIBC, leading teams in operational risk and advanced analytics. They have held key roles within CIBC's operational risk program, notably enabling the bank to be the first in North America approved under the Advanced approach for operational risk in 2008. Dan's previous experience includes work as a Design and Reliability Engineer and founding a start-up in the fitness equipment sector. Dan holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and a B.Eng in Mechanical Engineering from Lakehead University, along with certification as a Professional Engineer and a CFA charterholder.
