Don McAra

Don McAra is a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at CIBC, where they have worked since 2009, specializing in server virtualization and backup environments. They possess over 15 years of experience and have strong expertise in Netbackup, Avamar, and Data Domain. Prior to CIBC, Don served as a Sr. Technical Analyst at Hewlett-Packard for nearly two decades, managing environments for over 1,000 servers and coordinating infrastructure upgrades. Don also worked as a consultant for the Ontario Government, focusing on backup environment stabilization. They studied Computers and Marketing at Mohawk College from 1985 to 1987.
